Not stamped. Cast.
Solid brass, cast not stamped
No plating, no alloy fill. What you hang is what it's made of, straight through.
Finished entirely by hand
The antique patina is worked into every recess by hand - no two pieces are quite identical.
Fitted, not guessed at
Ships with matched brass screws and a paper template. No drilling guesswork.
Five guardians for the threshold
Each motif carries its own meaning at the door - protection, prosperity, welcome. Choose the one that suits the house.

Ready to hang
Every piece ships with matched brass screws and a paper fitting template. No drilling guesswork.
Sand, fire, and a very old method
Nothing here is stamped from sheet metal. Each knocker begins as molten brass poured into a hand-packed sand mould.
The mould
A master pattern is pressed into fine casting sand and packed by hand. Every mould is used once, then broken open.
The pour
Brass is melted past 900°C and poured. As it cools, the grain and the small variations that make each piece its own are set.
The finish
Filed, buffed, and given an antique patina by hand. The high points stay bright; the recesses hold the shadow.
